Laura is the host of the High-Tech Retailing Summit at the International CES, and most recently served as Editor of Retail Dive and Fierce Retail. She has appeared on national TV and radio programs discussing retail trends including CNBC, ABC News Now and National Public Radio. Her blog, “The Point of Purchase,” appears on Forbes.com.

Parvez Patel, General Manager of eFaucets.com and Hausera.com has 15+ years of experience in B2C and B2B multi-channel businesses. Currently enjoying (and being stretched) leading a mid-size eCommerce business, through the next phase of its growth, while helping the largest distributor in the home/kitchen fixtures space, undergo a digital transformation.

 He loves to attract and develop high-performing teams, helping individuals deliver breakthrough results and become future organizational leaders. Extremely proud of his international background, and foundations in engineering, 6-Sigma Black-Belt and operations.


Leen Nsouli

Leen Nsouli, Industry Analyst, The NPD Group

Leen Nsouli is the industry analyst for The NPD Group’s Office Supplies and Home Improvement divisions. Since joining NPD in 2013, Leen has been focused on providing manufacturer and retail clients with sales and marketing insights, and category management solutions utilizing NPD’s portfolio of data assets. Driven by client collaboration and the ability to translate information into accelerated growth in a brand’s strategic areas of operation, Leen also has a passion for understanding key macro and economic indicators that drive consumer behavior and retail marketplace trends.


Joe Caldwell

Joe Caldwell, Director of eCommerce, Sims Supply

Joe Caldwell has been in the Information Technology industry for 18 years. Early in his career he was managing large scale remittance processing systems for Target, and American Express which led to a career in eCommerce where he helped develop the collector car division of eBay motors. For the past 11 years he has worked closely with the home improvement, and the industrial commercial supply industry. His focus has been working large hardware distributors by leveraging their logistics, and product data to bring them to marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Jet, Sears, and NewEgg.


Lawrence Mansour

Lawrence Mansour, Founder/CEO, EZ-Ad

Lawrence Manour, Founder and CEO of EZ-Ad, an in-store digital signage and social-marketing platform, launched EZ-eCommerce Solution, a flexible and customizable way for dealers to design, manage, and optimize their online selling. Mansour grew up in the home improvement industry, as his father owns a half-dozen True Value Hardware stores in the Detroit area. EZ-AD recently sold its mobile app to True Value.


Matt Woods

Matt Woods, COO, Woods Hardware

Matt Woods, MBA, Chief Operating Officer for Woods Hardware, a Cincinnati-area True Value-affiliated dealer with six locations was launched in 2007. He currently leads the day-to-day operations for the retail hardware business. There are three divisions with nearly 70 employees. The Locksmith and Door Supply business was founded in 1933.

Woods Hardware was the winner of the 2018 Reimagine Retail National Hardware Show ward recognizing re-inventive, innovative vision and execution by independent home improvement retailers.

Woods Hardware invested the $100,000 Reimagine Retail award money in a 3D e-commerce experience. Woods Hardware’s new ecommerce website includes a virtual tour of each of its locations and allows customers to virtually walk through the aisles of all of the Woods Hardware stores, click on an item and have it delivered the same day.


Elizabeth Ragone

Elizabeth Ragone, SVP, Direct to Consumer Lenox

Elizabeth Ragone began her career in Digital Merchandising in 1998 when no one knew really what Digital Merchandising was. As Head Merchant of landsend.com, she grew the E-commerce business to $450M, and then co-founded Fair Indigo, a multi-channel start-up featuring organic and fair trade apparel and home goods. She has worked with brands such as Ann Taylor, Chico’s, FAS, HSNi and is now with Lenox shaping a Digital landscape that lends commerce, community and content into a whole new customer experience.


Peter Giannetti, Editor-in-Chief, HomeWorld Business

Peter Giannetti is Editor-in-Chief of HomeWorld Business, the leading business-to-business title covering the U.S. retail housewares market. Mr. Giannetti has reported on the housewares business for 27 years. He writes a keynote column in HomeWorld Business, and he is a frequent speaker on housewares news and trends at conferences, trade shows and industry events. He is interviewed frequently by consumer media for his views on industry developments and trends. Mr. Giannetti travels extensively in the U.S., Europe and Asia to visit manufacturers, retailers and trade fairs. Mr. Giannetti also oversees editorial operations for HomeWorld Business’ sister publication, Gourmet Insider, covering the independent gourmet housewares channel.


Sonya Ruff Jarvis, Founder, eRetailer Summit, Managing Member of Jarvis Consultants, Founder / President of JC Event Group

Sonya Ruff Jarvis, is the Managing Member of Jarvis Consultants and the Founder of the eRetailer Summit and JC Event Group. Sonya has spent most of her career visiting headquarters across global industries.  An expert in the field, Sonya has been published in numerous retail industry b-to-b publications. Sonya shares her experiences in her book Mindful Minutes: A Marketer’s Journey Through Business the first in a series. Sonya has a M.B.A. in Marketing. She is married and has a daughter and they live in Fairfield County Connecticut.
